History

Established in December 2022, BEEGB aims to reform assessment practices in public sector schools for Grade-5 & 8 in GB in the light of National Curriculum of Pakistan. Prior to its establishment as centralized examination body the divisional level elementary examination cells, each adhering to its own standards, were responsible to conduct exams.

Initial Phase

Elementary exams were conducted by divisional Academic Cells from 2015 to 2022.

Centralization Initiative

Establishment of BEEGB as centralized examination body In December 2022.

Reforms in Assessment

SLOs based Assessment, Formative Assessment, Implementation of Rubrics & Provision of Model Papers with Table of Specification.
